Using JokeBay

JokeBay is free to read for personal, non-commercial use. You’re welcome to tell our jokes anywhere, and to share them using the share buttons or a link back to the joke. Please don’t copy the site’s lists, images or design in bulk, republish them on another website or app, or scrape the site with automated tools.

Our content

The site’s design, text, joke lists, characters and images belong to JokeBay or are used with permission. Many jokes are our own wording of classic joke ideas; we don’t claim to own the ideas themselves, only how they’re written and presented here.

Submitting a joke

When you submit a joke, you confirm that you wrote it or that it’s fair to share, that it’s clean, and that you’re at least 13 years old. You give JokeBay a free, non-exclusive, worldwide, permanent license to edit, publish and share it, including on social media, with or without credit. We don’t pay for submissions, and we decide which jokes go up. You keep any rights you already had in your joke.

Things you may not do

• Submit anything unlawful, hateful, sexually explicit, harassing or that belongs to someone else.
• Try to break, overload or get around the security of the site or its forms.
• Use the site to send spam or advertise without our permission.

Ads and links to other sites

JokeBay shows ads and links to other websites, such as Pinterest, Facebook and X. We don’t control those sites or ads and aren’t responsible for their content, products or privacy practices.

Copyright concerns

If you believe something on JokeBay infringes your copyright, contact us with the page link and details, and we’ll review it promptly and remove it if appropriate.

No warranties

JokeBay is provided for entertainment, “as is”, without warranties of any kind. Jokes are humor, not advice. We don’t promise the site will always be available or error-free.

Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, JokeBay isn’t liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer laws that can’t be excluded.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and using the site after a change means you accept it.
